I received my B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Human Services from the University of Central Florida. From there, I continued at the University of Central Florida to pursue my Masters in Counselor Education on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track. I gained my experience by working at the Community Counseling and Research Center at UCF, interning and partnering with HD Counseling, and through continuing to see clients within my own private practice setting.
I naturally take a humanistic approach to my therapeutic work with clients, but I consider myself to be eclectic and adaptable overall, pulling something from many different therapeutic approaches (Person-Centered, Existential, and CBT). I aim to help you find your balance, whatever that may look like for you as an individual.
I would describe my own struggles in life as being the reasons I have made a career in counseling such a driving force in my life. My passion for helping others has evolved into a purpose for me to fulfill within my own life. I believe that anyone can take something positive away from therapy, regardless of their current obstacles or circumstances.
